Welcome to the website, and to this “parlor” wherein I will convey at regular intervals various types of commentary on the game we all love, the panoply of curious individuals who populate our unique subculture, the institutions that structure our endeavors, the body of Laws that govern it, the code of behavior to which we should eternally aspire, and above all the vicissitudes of that “Human Comedy” in which we are all willing, if often unwitting, agonists. Not to worry, there will be plenty of deals too, along with the aireier, abstract or philosophical paeans – in short, hopefully something for everyone.
